WAXLER Immigration LAW SERVICES

Who We Represent

Our clients know that the immigration process is usually a lengthy process. That process can be overwhelming at times, but all of our clients trust that they are in good hands.

With courage, honesty, patience, and perseverance, our clients at Waxler Immigration Law know they can reach their goals.

If you want to know what the law is, if you are committed to finding a way to fulfill your dreams with integrity (even if right now you have no idea how), and if you are willing to invest your time and energy to achieve your dreams, then we are here to help and support you.

 Initial Consultation

Our office charges $350 for an initial consultation. This consultation is an evaluation meeting with immigration attorney, Sherilyn Holcombe Waxler. This appointment may be completed over the phone, through video-conferencing, or in person.

During your initial consultation, Sherilyn will ask you about your goals for you or your family member and gather the information that she needs to determine what options may be available for you under U.S. immigration law.

Sherilyn will also explain how the immigration law applies to your circumstances. At Waxler Law, our goals during this initial consultation are to:

  • Empower and educate our clients about the current immigration system, even at the initial consultation stage

  • Determine if our office is able to take on your case by evaluating the best path to legal status for you.

To request an initial consultation, fill out the contact form, or call us at 503-281-0990.

If we are able to assist you, we will move on to next steps.

One of the biggest recommendations that we give to our potential and current clients is this:

Educate yourself to empower yourself.

Even the simplest immigration case requires an expert, legal consultation with an immigration lawyer as the immigration laws, rules, and procedures in the United States are extremely complicated and often change.

Many people after reading eligibility lists, mistakenly assume they are unqualified to apply for DACA, U visas, permanent residency, or US citizenship. But after speaking with an immigration attorney and sharing the full details of their, they learn that there is indeed a path to legal status for them. This could be you.

At Waxler Immigration Law, we have over 20 years experience helping our clients with their applications for lawful immigration status and US citizenship.

We can’t wait to meet you. Contact us or call us at 503-281-0990.

Dreamers

Our office can help you with your initial Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) or DACA renewal, but we will never stop there. We know that DACA is a temporary solution, and we will always be looking for a better and more secure immigration option for you and your family.

Immigrant Survivors of Violence

If you are a survivor of crime, including domestic violence, sexual assault, and forced labor there may be immigration options available to you.

Our office has significant experience representing immigrants who are survivors and a passion for helping support our clients on what can be a long but extremely worthwhile journey towards residency and citizenship.

Trust that the details of your particular case will remain confidential and we will help you seek safety.

 Citizenship

We love to help our clients from the beginning of their immigration journey all the way through their naturalization as a U.S. citizen. We also have experience helping obtain evidence of U.S. citizenship for individuals who derived citizenship through their parents but do not have evidence of that status.

Family BAsED PETITIONS

We know that sometimes you have to go through a long immigration process to be with the people you love – whether a spouse, a parent, a child, or a sibling. Our office can help you determine what you can do and help you with the process of bringing your family together.
